The following documents are provided for download in Microsoft Word, and Adobe PDF formats. Each download is a compressed zipped folder containing both versions of that document. At the prompt, please choose SAVE and then save to your desktop or preferred location. Then you can choose the document style you wish to use and work on it at your own pace, offline. The SEYF office encourages use of the Microsoft Word version, which allows you type directly into the document and save. Alternatively, you may print the PDF version, and complete by hand.
The official Rule Book is a 50-page guide (available below as a PDF Download) with resources on everything from contests to market animals. It contains all important dates, times and locations.
We invite you to participate in the 70th annual Southeastern Youth Fair & Livestock Show. The Fair is the product of a partnership between youth and community, and a continuing success story that inspires the volunteers that make this event a reality.
This book contains all the information needed to join the tradition. However, it is your responsibility to read through the general as well as show/event rules & regulations. There have been a number of changes from last year, so don’t assume anything, take the time to ask questions, and you will have done your part to make the Fair a better event!
All shows and events require a pre-registration and/or mandatory meeting you and a parent or guardian must attend. You must be registered with a 4-H Club, FFA, or FCCLA Chapter by the entry deadline. All entries must be complete. Entries incomplete or incorrect will be rejected. NO late entries will be accepted. There are NO EXCEPTIONS, so please take time to be sure all information is correct and legible. Don’t forget to check the web site for changes and other updates throughout the year.
On behalf of the Board of Directors, Fair volunteers and staff we wish you the best in your projects for the 2010 Southeastern Youth Fair!
Sharon Seiler, President

Construction has started on the new auditorium. Fencing is erected around the existing buildings which necessitates a change in traffic flow and parking. When visiting the Ag Center, 4-H Office or Youth Fair Office during the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, the gate to the Livestock Pavilion will be open and you may park there and walk to any of the offices. After 4:00 pm, the gate will be locked and you will have to park in front of the arena. We are sorry for the inconvenience, but the new building will be a very valuable asset to all of us.
